After meeting with the guide, you will start your trek from Bhagsu. The guide will take you to Triund through Bhasgu Waterfall. After climbing for a few kilometres, you will reach Magic View. Later in the evening, you will reach Karthani, Triund.

ORS: Oral Rehydration Solution. It treats dehydration caused by diarrhoea, a common illness in travellers. Note: This is just an explanation of medication that may be required. Kindly consult your doctor for a prescription before Trek.
Dogs: In the wild, they are generally not dangerous. However, it must be considered that they are territorial animals, and problems can arise. If the animal shows signs of aggression, you must not panic and do not run away, but retreat calmly and possibly interpose between you and the dog, the backpack or a stick. Bears: Triund is also known as “The Bear Valley”. However, there are rare cases of bear encounters on the Triund Trail due to aggressive tourism activities. Stay safe with your group or guide, avoid using deodorants or anything with a strong fragrance, and don’t keep food in the open. If the bear comes too close, don’t run! You cannot run away from the bear. Continue speaking in a calm voice and start walking away slowly. Any bear will most likely refuse to continue the encounter and leave unless it is aggressive. In the worst case, they fall to the ground at the very last moment. Lie on your stomach with your legs spread slightly, or curl up in a ball. Cover your head with your fingers interlocking at the back of your head. In this position, you protect your face and neck. Wearing a backpack will help protect your back and neck. Don’t fight or shout. Stay still for as long as possible. Stinging Nettle plant: Also known as “Bichu Buti,” it has the most significant medicinal properties. Still, it is covered with stinging hair that can cause allergy and irritation when you touch its leaves. If that happens, do not scratch the area; wash it with soap and water as quickly as possible and apply a moistened cloth. After some time, the irritation will disappear.

By Train: The closest station to the Triund Trek is Pathankot Railway Station, located approximately 95 kilometres from the trek's starting point. By Road: Triund Trek can be easily reached by bus, cab, or private car from various cities, such as Delhi, Chandigarh, and Pathankot.

Bhagsu Nag, commonly known as Bhagsu, is a picturesque village near McLeod Ganj. It takes its name from the historic Bhagsu Nag Temple devoted to Lord Shiva. According to local folklore, King Bhagsu from Rajasthan fought a fierce battle with the serpent god, Nag, after trying to steal water from the revered Nag Dal Lake. The king later sought forgiveness, constructing a temple at the site to honour the serpent god. A short hike from the Bhagsu Nag Temple leads to the beautiful Bhagsu Waterfall. Plunging from approximately 20 meters (66 feet), the waterfall is encircled by verdant foliage and provides a refreshing view. The area surrounding the waterfall is perfect for relaxing and picnicking, making it a great precursor to the more challenging trek to Triund.
