Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Jammu

Dist: 606 km | Time: 12 to 13 hr | Altitude: 239 to 327m

You will begin your journey by Volvo bus from Delhi at night and reach Jammu in the morning after 12 to 13 hours.

Overnight: Journey by AC Sleeper Volvo Bus

Day 2: Jammu to Patnitop

Dist: 109 km | Time: 02 to 03 hr | Altitude: 327 to 2024m

Upon reaching Jammu, one of our representatives will pick you up from the designated location and drive you to Patnitop. After arriving, you will check in to the hotel. Later in the evening, you can explore the local attractions in Patnitop.

Day 3: Patnitop to Srinagar

Dist: 165 km | Time: 06 to 07 hr | Altitude: 2024 to 1585m

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Srinagar. Upon reaching Srinagar, you will explore the local attractions.

Day 4: Srinagar to Gulmarg

Dist: 51 km | Time: 02 to 03 hr | Altitude: 1585 to 2650m

After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg. Here, you can see a meadow of flowers. During summer, it has a famous golf course, and during winter, it is a ski resort. One can enjoy a gondola ride (self-expenses). After thoroughly enjoying Gulmarg, you will return to the hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar to Sonamarg

Dist: 80 km | Time: 02 to 03 hr | Altitude: 1585 to 2800m

After having your delicious breakfast, you can go on a day trip to Sonamarg. Sonamarg ( 2800 Meters above sea level), which means ' meadow of gold ', has snowy mountains against a cerulean sky as its backdrop. The Sindh meanders are along here and abound with trout and mahseer. Snow trout can be caught in the main river. You can access the snow, furnished all over like a white carpet. Ponies can be hired for the trip to Thajwas Glacier, a major attraction during the summer months.

Day 6: Srinagar to Pahalgam

Dist: 90 km | Time: 03 to 04 hr | Altitude: 1585 to 2200m

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave for Pahalgam and Lidder Valley. Pahalgam is the most famous place in the Indian Film Industry. Start with Aru Valley, a small village 15 km upstream of the Lidder River. The route is picturesque, with ample campsites. Later, visit Chandanwari, 16 km, which is the starting point of the sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. You can visit Hajan, an idyllic picnic spot, and Betaab Valley.

Day 7: Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley. You will check out from the hotel and leave for Srinagar. Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Next, indulge in shopping for traditional handicrafts at Lal Chowk, a bustling market rich in local culture, and explore the beautiful BadamWari Park. Later, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Dal Lake and admire the iconic houseboats and surroundings. Then, check in to your houseboat for an overnight stay.

  • The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified. Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be available. For any non-operational paid activity due to any unforeseen reason, we will process a refund, and the refund should reach the guest within 30 days of processing the refund.
  • Also, no refund will be processed for any complementary activity not charged to UNCIA and guests.
  • AC will not be functional anywhere in cool or hilly areas.
  • Entrance fees, parking and guide charges are not included in the packages.
  • Suppose your flights involve a combination of different airlines. In that case, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the onward journey to your destination.
  • Booking rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangements will be made for alternate accommodation in a hotel of a similar standard.
  • Suppose your package must be cancelled due to natural calamities, weather conditions, etc. In that case, UNCIA will strive to give you the maximum possible refund, subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
  • UNCIA reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point due to reasons including but not limited to Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of /entry restrictions at a place of a visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we will not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising from this.
  • The booking price does not include personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees, etc.

  • In Gulmarg, the horseman union does not allow vehicles to drop off or pick up guests at the gondola and prohibits all sightseeing tours.
  • Aru Valley, Chandanwari and Betaab Valley at Pahalgam are separate from the itinerary (unless included) due to restrictions by the local transport union.
  • During winter, the road to Sonamarg remains closed, and vehicles can only go to Gagangir.
  • For sightseeing in Sonamarg, our vehicle will take the guest to the Sonamarg taxi stand. The guest must hire a pony or a local Union cab from there. Thajwas Glacier and Zero Point at Sonamarg are not included in the tour due to restrictions laid down by the local union.
  • Personal cabs cannot transfer tourists to/from Thajiwas Glacier, Fish Pond, Zero Point, Baltal, Krishansar, and Vishansar Lake. However, taxis hired from local unions can be paid directly.
  • You must bring proof of valid identification at the time of check-in. (PAN cards are not accepted).
  • The sequence of the day-wise itinerary for the Kashmir Package may change during the trip depending on restrictions or any other unknown issues.
  • We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary for the Kashmir Package due to union issues, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen events. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the package price.
  • If you cancel your trip midway for any reason, the remaining amount will be non-refundable.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
  • The client should bear any increase in cost due to a medical emergency. No refund will be given for any unused service.
  • If the transport cost during the trip (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation increases unprecedentedly, this will affect the price.
  • Check-in/check-out time at all the properties will be at 1200 hrs (Noon). Some properties may not allow early check-in.
  • Buffet Service will be available from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
  • You will get hot water in showers for a few hours in the morning. Kindly ask the receptionist about the times in advance.
  • At most hotels in Kashmir, a room heater (if required) is available on request and direct payment.
  • Houseboats in Kashmir operate differently than those in Kerala. All houseboats on Dal Lake are stationary and offer amazing views of the lake and its surroundings. Accommodation in the quaint houseboats of Kashmir is purely for the experience. Unlike hotels, houseboats are limited by certain limitations, such as 24x7 electricity and water supply, a television in each room, etc.
  • The timings given in the itinerary and program may be changed without notice.
  • Places mentioned in the itinerary may need to be noticed.
  • Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear, to an asset.

  • 30 Days or More: 50% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 15 to 29 Days: 25% of the total amount is refundable.
  • 0 to 14 Days: No Refunds.

It is also the most significant commercial, trading, and tourism nerve centre in this part of the world. How to reach

By Air: The nearest airport to Kashmir is Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport in Srinagar. It connects many cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Amritsar, Jaipur, and Jammu, as well as a few locations in the Middle East and Central Asia.

By train: Jammu Tawi Railway Station is the closest rail station to Kashmir, 280 kilometres away. It is directly linked to all major Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata.

Shalimar Bagh

Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden in Srinagar, Kashmir, India, built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan in 1619. It is located near Dal Lake on the banks of the Jhelum River. The garden is considered one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. It is divided into four terraces with a central water channel running through all four levels. The garden is filled with numerous trees, plants, and flowers, and the lawns are beautifully decorated with fountains and pools. Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is the largest in Asia, located in Srinagar in the Indian Union territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The garden was inaugurated in 2007 by the then Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad, in memory of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Spread over 30 hectares, the garden is home to over 70 varieties of tulips, with nearly 7 million blooming in a riot of colours during the season. The garden also has a variety of other flowers, such as daffodils, hyacinths, daisies, lilies, chrysanthemums, and marigolds. The garden is open to visitors from April to May during the blooming season. It is located on the banks of the famous Dal Lake in Srinagar, making it a popular tourist destination. The garden also organises various events, such as horticulture shows, painting competitions, and flower shows.

Pari Mahal

Pari Mahal is a seven-story palace on the slopes of the Zabarwan range in Srinagar, Kashmir, India. The palace was built in 1640 by Prince Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Pari Mahal is noted for its architectural style and commanding views over the city and the Dal Lake below. The palace is believed to have been constructed as an observatory to study astronomy and was once home to Prince Dara Shikoh’s library of Sanskrit and Persian manuscripts. The palace comprises four terraces, each with its garden and fountain, and the building was designed with a combination of Mughal, Kashmiri, and Persian architectural styles. The palace has a main entrance gate, a small mosque, and several rooms, including a meditation hall, a kitchen, and a library. The palace also has a large garden with many trees and flowers. Shankaracharya Hill

Apharwat Peak

Rani Temple

The temple was built in the 16th century by the Mughal emperor Akbar. It is located in the village of Bijbehara, in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The temple complex comprises a large main temple, two small temples, and a ceremonial courtyard. The temple is constructed of white marble and is decorated with intricate designs and carvings. Single Nallah

Ningle Nallah is a significant tributary of the Jhelum River in the Kashmir Valley of India. It is a primary source of irrigation and water for the valley’s residents. The Ningle Nallah is one of the most important rivers in the Kashmir Valley. Zojila Pass 

Zojila Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass located in the western section of the Himalayas in the Indian Union territory of Ladakh. The pass is 3,528 m (11,575 ft) above sea level and on the strategic Srinagar-Leh Highway. It is the highest point on the highway and the only route from Ladakh to Kashmir. Thajiwas Glacier

Thajiwas Glacier is in the Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located in the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas, about 8 km from Sonamarg. The trail to Chandanwari is dotted with several natural attractions, such as Sheshnag Lake, Pissu Top, and Mahagunas Pass. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of several snow-covered peaks during the trek, such as Mount Kolahoi, Mount Harmukh, and Mount Machoi.
