Manikaran lies near Kasol in Parvati Valley of Kullu district. It is 4.5 km from Kasol. The springs are situated near the bank of the Parvati River. The locals play a significant role in maintaining the springs and the surrounding area, ensuring visitors enjoy the healing properties and unique cooking experience.

The hot springs are very well-known to have healing properties. Pilgrims from far come here for the cure of their ailments. Muscular pains and Rheumatism are said to be cured quickly by bathing in hot spring water. Mythology says once while taking a bath here, Maa Parvati lost her earrings in the Kund.
